I'm extra selfish this month.
1. High Socie-tea Dress * 2. Nutella iPhone Case * 3. Modern Vintage Pink Cuckoo Clock * 4. Giant Ice Cream Cone Lamp * 5. In a Classic of Its Own Heel * 6. Cuffed Cutout Platform * 7. Patent Mary Jane * 8 * 9. Cap Sleeve Challis Shirt Dress * 10. Rosy Ride Bicycle Print Sundress * 11. You've Got Chemistry Swimsuit Bottom
My room is clean, which means my mom will finally let me buy clothes and shoes again! <3
I feel like 80% of my dresses are for the colder months, which gives me an excuse to buy more. I'm excited!

My April/Birthday Wishlist!

Happy almost birthday to me!
1. Gold Tone Teapot & Teacup Charm Necklace * 2. Goldfish Umbrella * 3. Soft Serve Ice Cream Maker * 4. Cone Heel Pump * 5. Macaron Coin Purse * 6. Apple Wristlet * 7. Kit Kat Clock * 8. I <3 Macarons * 9. Benefit They're Real Mascara * 10. Side Bay Side Dress
For most of these things, I know I'm never going to get them, but I like to dream. My mom said no to ice cream makers, because "we don't have enough space." Pshhh. And no more cooking books, because I "have too many." She's crampin' my style. They only thing between me and 10 cats is my mom. But she's great!

I feel like I'm getting old... I'm turning middle-middle aged (quarter aged?) and I will no longer be a child :'(

Happy (mid) April!

Tuesday Shoesday: ModCloth

Hi everyone!
Ever since my New Year's Resolution to shop less, I feel like knowing that I can't do something makes me want to do it even more. So, when I'm not studying, I'm looking at one of my favorite things in the world:

(Ew... I wish ISO  noise...)
And that's not even half of my ever-growing shoe collection... Excluding sandals and boots, of course. Boots are an entirely different story for me.
Shoes.

ModCloth has always been one of those sites where I browse, see a bunch of adorable things, and then sigh to myself, thinking, "Maybe someday."

But since I can't buy stuff, they got that much more adorable.

Lately I've really been liking heels because I've always had big dreams of being tall one day, but just finally accepted the fact that I'm done growing (I'm only 5' 3"... *sigh*). Also, I'm almost guaranteed to like anything with a T-Bar. These are so cute.

Even though these shoes look like they'd be hard to wear, I'm sure if they were mine I'd wear them everyday until they either wore out or I got massive blisters.

I really want a pair of cutout oxfords. Jeffrey Campbell makes the prettiest shoes in the history of pretty shoes. I wish I could meet him and ask how he comes up with these wonderful designs.

I saw these on Keiko Lynn. If she wears something, I automatically want it.

I also will probably like anything with bows.

I hope everyone has a wonderful week :-)

xx Lindsay

Holiday Wishlist

4. Merona Single Breasted Coat with Fur Collar 5. Cute T-Bars 6. Pussybow Blouse In Heart Print

Happy belated Hannukah and almost Christmas! This list is made of stuff I know I'm not going to get in a million years because I don't have a million dollars. Haha! But I'm getting 3 of the things: the bag, lens, and t-bar pumps. I hate myself for not buying the fur-trimmed coat. It's sold out online and I almost bought it when I went to Target...
I saw the Mulberry Alexa Bag and got sad seeing that it was $1500. This one from Amazon looks almost exactly the same, but I actually prefer it a little bit over the original :-)

I'm sooo excited for Christmas! I just want to bake cakes and eat tons of cookies and relax like there's no tomorrow... But supposedly there isn't ;-)

Cats cats cats cats.

If something has cats on it, chances are 1) I have it, 2) I love it, or 3) I want need it.

I love cats so much that anything with cats on it automatically makes me smile... I bought these cute cat-printed shorts from Forever 21, and even though it was below freezing most of the day, I wore them. I looked confused about the climate, but how could I not wear them?!

I seriously want everything with cats on it. Really. But the Jeffrey Campbells are my "dream shoes" because I know I'd never be able to afford them, haha. And I think I might buy the cat fabric so I can make a cat dress! :-D

The Ever-Growing Wishlist: August

Sometimes when I shop online, I realize that I want everything!

1. Sherwood Ring from Anthropologie: I've always wanted an arrow ring, but could never find a silver one. The small, dainty details are just so lovely!

2. Mary Jane Pump Canvas Shoe from American Apparel: I've always loved Mary Janes, but the heels on these are so sweet and vintage-y. And the color is super cute!

3. Lace Shorts from Ebay: These shorts are everywhere! I think these are versatile enough to wear in all seasons. The lace is so adorable and the white one makes me think of cake :o)

4. Heart Cutout Back Dress from Urban Outfitters: I've been looking at heart cutout dresses for a while now. I kind of want to see if I can make my own!

5. Minnetonka Tramper Ankle Hi Boot from ShoeBuy: I absolutely looove Minnetonkas! They're so comfy and cute! I want some short ones, but then again I also like these.

6. Frenchi Open Knit Cardigan from Nordstrom: I saw this in the store and fell in love! I especially like the brownish-orange one!

7. Motif Sweater from H&M: I love sweaters, especially ones with cute things on them! This one is such a cute, bright blue and I love the cat/fox critter on the front!

8. Skater Skirt in Horse Print from ASOS: I love any flow-y skirt along with anything printed with cute animals. This skirt is afforable, too!

9. Women's Neck Tie from flappergirl on Etsy: I've always wanted a girl-tie because I didn't know if I'd look too weird with a bow tie. I think I might try to make one soon!

10. Polkadot Pullover from a-thread.com: I really want a polkadot pullover to wear on top of my chambray top. This one looks so cute with the scallop shorts (also on my list!)

I think I might have a shopping problem, but then again, maybe I just really, really like clothes ;-) I hope everyone is having a good week!

5. Dreams of You Dress in Sage: A cute granny-esque dress in such a lovely color!

6. Shoreline Soiree Dress: I have a strange thing for plain dresses.

Back-to-School Wishlist

It's the day before August... This only means one thing to me: School starts soon. Along with being reluctant to go back, I still have my summer assignments to complete AND I also have to arrange my college class to take this year. Seriously, the only thing getting me through this is the excuse to buy a ton of things for back-to-school, so here are a few of my favorites:

1. Patent Leather Boots: A long time ago, I saw pink ones at Wal-Mart for super cheap, like $13. At the time, I was too self-conscious to wear anything super wacky like that. I deeply regret passing them up, but I think I'll be able to find some easily soon.

2. A Black-and-White Dress: I once saw a dress in the window of Charlotte Russe similar to this one paired with a mint belt. I'm a sucker for both mint and polka dots! :-)

3. Circle Skirts: The way these skirts drape down is just so lovely. I've debated making one, but the amount of material would be ridiculous, so buying is a much easier (and mayber even cheaper) alternative. And this one is corduroy!

4. Glitter Oxfords: These have been on my wishlist for a while now. I can't seem to find the perfect ones since I want rainbow glitter. A DIY is in order, maybe? (I also just got a pair of oxfords I don't like very much for super cheap :-) )

5. Polka Dot Tights: I have the perfect vintage dress to pair these with along with my brown oxfords and lace socks. Once I finish reworking the dress, hopefully I'll get a pair of these tights.

6. Midi-Length Skirt: I've never been a fan of maxi skirts, and sometimes short skirts seem awkward in the winter. This length looks so old-fashioned and adorable that I'm a fan!

What are some of your favorite pieces for back-to-school?
