Scalloped Nails

Scallops are just so gosh darn adorable, so I decided to scallop-ify my nails:

Things you need: Multiple colors of nail polish (I feel that any more than 4 would be difficult to work with) along with some sewing pins with the spherical heads.
1. Paint your nails the base color. I recommend using your lightest color here. It doesn't have to be perfect, but make sure the tips are well-covered.
2. Use one of the needles to dot a horizontal line on the top quarter of your nail.
3. Fill in the space under the dotted line; paint towards your cuticle to keep from ruining the new scallop.
Keep on repeating these steps using the nail polishes from lightest to darkest (recommended). Then you're done!
